I took a party of 10 on an early Sunday afternoon for lunch. We were seated on time for our reservation, our server was experienced, our food was IMPECCABLE, and I hate this was our first time because I've been missing out.

Delightful! Before we walked in, our waitress was already preparing for us. She greeted us cheerfully as we walked in and promptly escorted us to our table. She was attentive throughout our stay and didn't rush us through our meal. The food was excellent--flavorful and plentiful. If you're in Belmont, stop and give Akahana a try! Dishes: hot and sour soup, shrimp shumai, calamari, spicy lemongrass w/ beef, mixed vegetables w/ chicken, shrimp and squid

I am pregnant and was craving “sushi”, meaning rice with anything cooked with cream cheese. The prices weren’t cheap but there’s a reason why!!! The sushi rolls are HUGE!!! The veggie tempura and the spider roll were soooooo good! I even got my food within 10 mins of arriving. Did I mention the 90s music?? Definitely coming back!!!

Every good dining experience starts with your server, so ask for Kyra's section and you will not want for anything! The pad thai and pineapple rice chicken will do you right! Highly recommend!

Delicious, authentic food with wonderful service. We were seated in a booth of our choice and given attention despite it being rather well attended. The food and beverages were delicious. I would highly regiments if you visit the Belmont area to come to Akahana.

We had a rather good size party of people and they accommodated us really well. Server was excellent. We hardly had to ask for anything. Drinks were refreshed frequently. Will definitely be returning to try other dishes. I had the California roll, spicy edamame and Vietnamese shaking beef. Every thing was delicious!

The servers are always attentive to my/our needs. Food is promptly served and is delicious. If you haven’t tried it yet, please do. Everyone I’ve taken there has raved about it.

Akahana is really good. On the outside it looks alright, but once you walk in you see the amazing atmosphere and you will smell the great food. My curry with Udon was delicious. The hints of chicken, udon noodles, vegetables, and the chili is simply bliss. The curry with shrimp was a 9/10. She said,” Even though I don’t like carrots, I love this meal.” Also our server was really nice. We are definitely coming back.
